Air India to launch Gatwick-Bengaluru route this summer season – Enterprise Traveller

Air India has confirmed plans to launch flights between London’s Gatwick Airport and Bengaluru.

The brand new route has been mentioned on our discussion board for a number of months, and the service has now issued a press launch with the launch date set for 18 August.

The service will function five-times-weekly, with flight AI177 departing Bengaluru on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 1305, arriving into Gatwick at 1905.

The return leg will depart London at 2035, touchdown again into Bengaluru at 1050 the next day.

Bengaluru will probably be Air India’s fifth vacation spot from Gatwick, becoming a member of flights from Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa and Kochi which launched final 12 months.

In complete the airline will provide 17 weekly flights at Gatwick Airport from this summer season, alongside 31 weekly providers from Heathrow to Delhi and Mumbai, and 6 weekly flights from Birmingham to Amritsar and Delhi.

The information follows the current launch of Virgin Atlantic’s route between Heathrow and Bengaluru.
