Accor Restructures Management for Two-Division Setup

Accor has reorganized its government management roles as a part of its transfer to create two enterprise divisions, efficient instantly, the corporate introduced Tuesday.  

Accor in July 2022 introduced its plans to reorganize its enterprise into two divisions: “Premium, Midscale & Financial system” and “Luxurious & Life-style.” 

Accor Group deputy CEO Jean-Jacques Morin now heads the Premium, Midscale & Financial system phase, which will probably be organized in 4 areas. Thomas Dubaere serves as CEO of the Americas, Patrick Mendes serves as CEO of Europe and North Africa, Duncan O’Rourke serves as CEO of the Center East, Africa, Turkey and Asia-Pacific, and Gary Rosen serves as CEO of Better China. 

Accor Group chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin heads up the Luxurious & Life-style division, which is organized round 4 model collections, together with Raffles and Orient Specific, Fairmont, Sofitel MGallery & Emblems and Ennismore, in accordance with the corporate. Government management underneath Bazin consists of newly appointed Omer Acar as CEO of Raffles and Orient Specific (efficient March 1), Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems CEO Maud Bailly, Ennismore co-CEO Gaurav Bhushan and Fairmont CEO Mark Willis. 

The 2 operational divisions, “with clearly recognized experience, ambitions and aims, will allow Accor to leverage its portfolio of distinctive and various manufacturers, management throughout most markets and unrivalled growth momentum,” in accordance with the corporate. 

Each divisions are supported by a newly created group administration board chaired by Bazin, and a “world shared platform,” that may help for each divisions’ features, together with expertise and procurement. The board “ensures consistency and alignment between the 2 divisions, by way of each the strategic priorities and efficiency levers,” in accordance with the corporate.
